Public Health Program Associate: Bonheur has professional experience working in developing countries on diseases surveillance, HIV/AIDS, immunization/polio eradication programs with several international institutions including the World Health Organization. He currently works on Vaccine Exemplars project.

Melkamu Tagele Zegeye, MPH
Community Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion Consultant: Melkamu has a passion for public health programs targeting hard to reach populations. Recently, he has managed projects focusing on HIV treatment, care, and prevention as well as expanding mobile medical services to rural areas.

Kassahun Zewudie, MPH
Senior Community Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion Specialist: Kassahun has diverse experience in managing public health projects and works as the Ethiopian research team coordinator.
Students

Frederica (Freddy) Lamar, MSPH
PhD Student: Freddy is pursuing a PhD in Environmental Health Sciences. She is interested in the intersection of WASH and behavior change interventions in low and middle income countries. She is working on formative research in Mozambique exploring childhood exposure to chicken feces and opportunities for interventions.

Chin-En (King) Ai
Graduate Research Assistant: King is currently pursuing an MPH in Environmental Health at Rollins with a focus on WASH and Infectious disease. He was a science and health educator at an elementary school in Taiwan and taught food safety, sex education, and infectious disease prevention. His focus area is infectious disease and vaccine research.
Tina Braccio
Graduate Research Assistant: Tina is pursuing an MPH in Global Health at Rollins. She is currently working on qualitative data collection to understand barriers and facilitators for uptake of an enhanced, demand-side sanitation and hygiene promotion behavior change intervention among caregivers in Amhara, Ethiopia.

Rachel Jackson
Graduate Research Assistant: Rachel is pursuing an MPH at Rollins with concentration on infectious diseases and certificate in WASH. She has spent time in Cambodia, Peru, and the Dominican Republic working on community education, and will be interning with IRC WASH in The Hague this summer.

Azmeh Khan
Graduate Research Assistant: Azmeh is pursuing an MPH in Global Environmental Health at Rollins with a concentration on infectious diseases and certificate in WASH. Over the summer, she is interning with IRC WASH in The Hague to examine WASH systems and how different elements of the WASH system may support or hinder progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals.

Morgan Lane
Graduate Research Assistant: Morgan is pursuing an MPH in Global Health at Rollins with a focus in infectious diseases and certificates in WASH and Complex Humanitarian Emergencies. Over the summer, she is interning with IRC WASH in The Hague conducting research on WASH systems and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Katie Micek
Graduate Research Assistant: Katie is pursuing an MPH in Global Health at Rollins with a focus in infectious disease and an interest in program monitoring and evaluation. She is working on the endline evaluation of the Chakruok Makare project in Kenya which aims to reduce stunting in children. She is supporting the concurrent quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis of the uptake of WASH and nutrition behaviors in caregivers of children under 2 years.

Shaiana Oliveira
Graduate Research Assistant: Shaiana is pursuing an MPH in Global Environmental Health and certificate in WASH. She is interested in the intersction of WASH and maternal and child health, focused on reducing child mortality. She is working in Mozambique to understand the impact of poor animal feces management and its possible impact on child health.

Ashlin Rakhra
Graduate Research Assistant: Ashlin is pursuing an MPH in Global Health. Over the summer, she is assisting in quarterly monitoring data collection for an enhanced, demand-side sanitation and hygiene promotion behavior change intervention in Amhara, Ethiopia.
