We conduct research to improve how public health programs are designed, implemented, evaluated, and continuously improved. Our work advances implementation science, program evaluation, evidence synthesis, reporting standards, and practical tools that strengthen public health policy and practice.
CARE-Emory Implementation Science Research
This collaboration aims to enhance program impact and improve the state of the knowledge for implementation science and research in the fields of gender equity, economic empowerment, WASH, and nutrition.
Previous projects
Hand hygiene systematic reviews
We conducted a series of systematic reviews that informed the WHO Guidelines on Hand Hygiene in Community Settings, strengthening the evidence base for hand hygiene in community settings.
VACCINE EXEMPLARS
As part of the series of exemplar projects funded by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, we are examined why and how countries have succeed in achieving high and improved vaccine coverage rates.
WASH Reporting
We developed and operationalized a standardized approach for reporting the implementation and context of hygiene and WASH interventions, improving the transparency, reproducibility, and synthesis of WASH research.
