The Template for Intervention Description and Replication for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (TIDieR-WASH) was developed through a multi-phase international consensus process to provide a standardized checklist for describing WASH interventions in sufficient detail to support interpretation, replication, adaptation, and evidence synthesis.

Quantitative Personal Hygiene Assessment Tool (qphat)

The Quantitative Personal Hygiene Assessment Tool (qPHAT) was developed to address the need for standardized, objective measures of personal hygiene. Using standardized wipes and an 11-point color scale, qPHAT provides a simple, reproducible method for quantitatively assessing facial and hand cleanliness, strengthening intervention evaluation, implementation research, and evidence generation in WASH and public health.

Collective Efficacy Scales

The Collective Efficacy Scales provides a validated approach for measuring a community's shared confidence in its ability to achieve common public health goals. Developed and validated in Ethiopia, the scale supports the design, implementation, and evaluation of community-based interventions by helping researchers and practitioners understand how collective efficacy influences intervention uptake, adoption, and effectiveness.
